What are you doing on Valentines Day with your significant other? Romantic ideas? Dinner and a movie?
Do you have a special Valentines Day that you will never forget? |

Other than doing something for the kids, we don't really do anything for Valentines Day. Our anniversary is Feb 23rd so, we just skip it.
I never did with my ex either because our ann. was Feb 5th!

Dang Jolene you like the month Feb dont you
We normally just go to dinner but not on V-day night, its always too busy!!! We will probably get a babysitter this year and go out. I know we need a date night and it just so happens to be Valentines day month. We normally get the kids and outfit and a small toy but nothing big. They are still little so I can ride this holiday out with nothing for them

My ex husbands name is Charles (was married 2 years he's my daughters dad) (he went by Charlie) and my husbands name is Charles (been married 21 years) lol I'm with you I kept it simple too Jolene..lmao Just kidding with ya. We usually go to dinner but have taken the Maleah since she came along so not a romantic dinner. In the past I have made him a special meal and we ate it on our best ware at home but depends on the year and the mood. We exchange gifts for sure but usually something small and simple (ie candy or flowers or something like that) and he does more for me than I do for him cause I stink at gift buying for him. And cause he tells me its not for him.. |

We usually just go to dinner. Valentine's day is also our anniversary so we give eachother a gift in the morning. I like V-day more for the kids. They like to decorate and eat all the treats in class. lol

Valentine's Day is VERY insignificant to our family these days. Lexi came home on February 13th, so, that day has all the meaning in the world. We throw her a "homecoming" party every year, just family and close friends. I have a small flower arrangement with a welcome home balloon delivered to her. When she starts school, I will have them sent to her at school. That days means so much to our family, it just kind of took away all the glamor of Valentine's Day!

Awww your anniversary is Valentines Day...that is cool! We like to do something for each other, no chocolates, roses, etc. Just something special to us.

We don't usually do anything big. Sometimes we go to dinner but never on V-day. We like to get little somethings for our daughter but hardly spend the money on each other.

This year Grandma has offered to babysit. YEAH!!!
We plan on going out to a nice dinner and a sappy romantic movie. I love the holidays. While we do try to show each other how much we love each other on a daily basis, it is also good for a relationship to have time out away from the kids. It is nice to "date" and spend time together on those rare occasions when we can get out for an evening. I am looking forward to our romantic date night out. |

As for gifts I LOvE holidays I always get him something. Our most memorable v-day was our 1st, I booked a romantic weekend get away for us at a beautiful hotel with a hot tub and the whole nine yards, decorated the entire room and so on, little did I know.... he suprised me and purposed to me that weekend!!
