Default Can you do it

You know the saying.....Sleep when they sleep. Could you do it? I can't seem to fall asleep when I try to nap. I just can't. Any advice for getting more rest?

I slept once in 3 months. I gave up. But they started sleeping through the night so it doesn't matter now. But those first few weeks...UGH!

Well, with most of mine they seemed to only want to bf when awake, so I'd end up doing other chores while they slept. I think with the last one I just gave up. No chores just bfing and sleeping when they slept. Only 4 yrs later she still wants to eat the entire time she is awake and I still need the nap lol.

LOL I still sometimes take a nap when Wyatt does! I didn't always sleep when he did but when until he was probably 4 or 5 months old I tried to sneak in a nap a couple times a week.

I don't know what I would do without my husband right now. I was never able to take naps after Aidan was born. I know I won't be able to when this baby is born. My husband and I take turns. I'll get up with the baby almost all week and he will get up with the baby during the weekends when he is off work. Of course he sleeps through the baby cries so I have to wake him up but I get to go right back to sleep. This pregnancy has me soooo worn out already that I go to bed around 7 or 8 pm. Joey will put Aidan to sleep around 10pm before he goes to work. (he is working graveyards)

I never could!! Oh I'd try, and either i'd not be able to sleep or i'd just get to sleep as the baby was waking up, just making me more tired!!
